Digid Systems Ltd ("Digid", "we", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of every individual whose information we process in the course of delivering biometrics, identity and security solutions. This policy describes how we handle personal and biometric data on our website, in our products, and across the projects we implement for our clients.
2. Data we process
Depending on the context, we may process: contact details (name, email, phone, organisation), biometric data (face, fingerprint, iris, palm, voice templates) collected on behalf of our clients, identity attributes (date of birth, nationality, ID numbers), device and usage data, and project documentation.
3. Lawful basis & roles
For website enquiries, Digid Systems is the data controller. For deployed projects (national ID, voter registration, KYC), our clients (governments, agencies and businesses) are the data controllers and Digid Systems acts as the data processor under contract.
4. How we protect data
We apply security controls aligned with ISO/IEC 27001, encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access control, audit logging, secure key management (HSM/KMS), and biometric template protection. Data sovereignty options are available, including in-country deployments.
5. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, individuals have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of their personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. Requests related to project data should be directed to the relevant data controller; website-related requests can be sent to privacy@digidsystems.com.
